   WELCOME TO ORIOLE NURSERY SCHOOL

Oriole is a non-denominational, co-operative preschool, centrally located at Yonge and St Clair. We offer morning programs for children 18 months to 5 years old, which emphasize learning through play, and mastering independence in a stimulating and social environment.

Oriole Nursery School sets the stage for learning by creating an enriched, unbiased, inclusive environment where children pursue their natural inclination to learn and be independent. We provide a happy, relaxed, encouraging atmosphere that fosters self-respect, self-discipline, self-esteem, a sense of humour, and security.

Oriole children have an outstanding "first school" experience in an enriched learning environment. With gardening, science, cooking, music and dance classes, Sportball, weekly French classes, special guests, outdoor play in our secure, private playground for both Preschool classes, and much more, children look forward to coming to school each day!

TESTIMONIALS

Having our two children attend Oriole Nursery School is still one of the best decisions we've made as parents. ONS provided the nurturing and stimulating experience any parent could hope for. Between the music and French classes, tactile play stations, daily art projects and circle time, our kids felt happy and secure.  This was especially important for our first born who was quiet, shy and nervous to be away from us for the first time.  But all of the teachers and staff were so patient and experienced.  We also loved the co-op nature of the school.  By volunteering for an occasional assigned task, it allowed us to get to know the community of students and parents and see first-hand what our kids experience in the class each day. Now that my kids are in Grade 4 and 6, we've had several years of elementary years in good schools under our belt, and Oriole still stands out.
